Kid’s Are Important

Church of the Resurrection has a number of different ministries for Children.  This department covers kids from infancy to 12 years old.

NURSERY
Currently we have nursery care for infants through age 3 downstairs in our Fellowship Building.  By October 2011, our new nursery will be opened!  It will be located next to the Sanctuary on the east side.  We are investing into our children.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH
Each Sunday, with the exception of Communion Sunday, the children are dismissed to children’s church following worship and the children’s moment with the Pastor.  The teaching team escorts the kids to the Fellowship Hall where they receive Bible instruction designed for them.  Our children are also part of our Missions giving through BGMC, Boys and Girs Missionary Challenge.  Buddy Barrels are given to each child and they are invited to bring them back full of change to give to our missions offerings.

GIRL’S MINISTRIES
Girls, beginning at age 4, have the opportunity to come to Girl’s Club on Thursday evenings during the school year.  This ministry is about intentional outreach and Christian  discipleship for girls. We teach girls biblical truths that will help them learn to  make God-pleasing decisions.  Girls are faced with so much  confusion and temptation in their daily lives, but in a setting catered  to girls they can connect with each other and an older mentor who can  invest in them through Bible study and activities and help them grow in  their faith and discover the answers to the questions they face.

REZ RANGERS
Boys, beginning at age 4, are invited to participate in Rez Rangers, a mentoring program for future men, on Thursday nights during the school year.  We provide Christlike character formation and servant leadership development for boys and young men in a highly relational and fun environment.  Our mission is to evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders.
